Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Besler Joins Rare Club

Stats and milestones from two games this weekend for KC teams.

Sporting Kansas City captain, Matt Besler hit a large milestone this year for the club, becoming just the third player in club history to start 250 games for the club, trailing only Nick Garcia and Kerry Zavagnin in that category for first all time. His teammate, Seth Sinovic also hit a milestone, starting his 150th league game for the club.Here are some other stats from this weekend.

Sporting Kansas City

Matt Besler started his 250th game for Sporting in all competitions, he's the third player to hit that mark.

Besler made his 218th league appearance, tying him with Preki for 4th all time on that list.

Benny Feilhaber scored his 32nd goal across all competitions for KC, tying him with Mo Johnston for 7th all time on that list.

Feilhaber's goal was his 28th league goal, tying him with Digital Takawira and Scott Sealy for 8th all time on that list.

Feilhaber scored his 18th home goal for KC in league play, tying him with Sealy for 8th all time on that list.

It was his 20th in all competitions at home, tying him with Sealy for 8th all time on that list as well.

In the 73rd minute, Feilhaber moved past Tony Meola and into 17th place for minutes played in league play, Feilhaber finished the game with 11,346 minutes played.

Feilhaber started his 129th league game for KC, breaking his tie with Josh Wolff, Jimmy Nielsen, and Michael Harrington for 13th all time on that list.

Seth Sinovic started his 150th league game for KC he's the 10th player to hit that mark for Sporting.

In the 67th minute, Sinovic moved past Jack Jewsbury and into 10th place for league minutes played for KC, Sinovic finished the game with 13,299 minutes played.

Swope Park Rangers

At 19 years, 52 days, Felipe Hernandez is the second youngest player to score a goal for SPR.

In the 74th minute, Mark Anthony Gonzalez moved past Tommy Meyer and into 5th place for league minutes played for SPR, Gonzalez finished the game with 2,191 minutes played.

At 24 years, 241 days, Kharlton Belmar became the 17th oldest player to appear in or start a league game for SPR.

In the 22nd minute, Adrian Zendejas moved past Nansel Selbol and into 10th place for league minutes played, he finished the game with 1,710 minutes played.

Zendejas started his 23rd game in all competitions, tying him with Kevin Oliveria for 9th all time on that list.

Oumar Ballo made his 29th league appearance, breaking his tie with Kris Tyrpak for 7th all time on that list.

It was his 32nd in all competitions, breaking his tie with Tyrpak for 6th all time on that list.

Ballo made his 21st league start, tying him with Tyrpak for 8th all time on that list.

It was Ballo's 25th start in all competitions, tying him with Tyrpak for 6th most on that list.
