It was a weekend for streaks to end for Kansas City teams, one bad, one good. Sporting Kansas City saw their club record 13 game unbeaten run in all competitions ended with a 1-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders. Meanwhile, FC Kansas City ended their club record nine game winless streak with a 1-0 win on the road against the Houston Dash. Here are some stats and milestones from this weekend’s games.

Sporting Kansas City

Matt Besler made his 214th league start, breaking his tie with Davy Arnaud for 3rd most in team history.

Benny Feilhaber made his 170th league appearance for Sporting, tying him with Michael Harrington for 14th all time on that list.

James Musa made his MLS debut.

Swope Park Rangers

Christian Duke became the first player to start 50 league games for Swope.

Kharlton Belmar scored his 7th goal for Swope Park, tying him with Kris Tyrpak for 2nd most in league play in team history.

It was his 7th in all competitions for SPR, breaking his tie with Kevin Oliveira for 3rd all time on that list.

Christian Duke's assist was his 3rd in league play for the Rangers, tying him with Nansel Selbol for 7th all time on that list.

It was his 3rd assist in all competitions, giving him sole possession of 9th place on that list.

In the 27th minute, Nansel Selbol moved past Kris Tyrpak and into 9th place for league minutes played for Swope, he finished the game with 1,787 minutes played.

In the 47th minute, Adrian Zendejas moved past Tyrpak and into 10th place for league minutes played for Swope. In the 78th minute, Zendejas moved past Selbol and into 9th place for league minutes played for SPR, he finished the game with 1,800 minutes played.

Zendejas made his 20th league appearance, tying him with Dane Kelly for 12th all time on that list.

In the 69th minute, Oumar Ballo moved past Tommy Meyer and into 6th place for minutes played in all competitions for SPR, he finished the game with 2,374 minutes played.

Ballo made his 30th league appearance, tying him with Ualefi for 6th all time on that list.

Ballo made his 22nd league start, breaking his tie with Tyrpak for 8th all time on that list.

Mark Anthony Gonzalez made his 24th league start for Swope, tying him with Meyer for 5th all time on that list.

Gonzalez and Ballo both made their 26th starts in all competitions, tying them with Meyer for 5th on that list.

FC Kansas City

Yael Averbuch made her 50th league start for FCKC, she's the 6th player to start 50 league games.

It was her 50th start in all competitions as well, she's the 7th player to hit 50 starts on that list.

In the first minute, Desiree Scott moved past Lauren Holiday and into 7th place for league minutes played, Scott finished the game wtih 4,233 minutes played.

Scott made her 48th league appearance, tying her with Holiday for 8th all time on that list.

Becky Sauerbrunn's assist gave her three in her FC Kansas City career, tying her with Christina Gibbons, Mandy Laddish, Frances Silva, and Sarah Hagen for 9th in league play on that list. It tied her for 10th in all competitions with Gibbons, Laddish, and Silva.

In the 65th minute, Lo'eau LaBonta moved past Jenna Richmond and into 20th place for minutes played in all competitions, she finished the game wtih 1,935 minutes played.

Brittany Taylor made her 37th league appearance for FCKC, tying her with Mandy Laddish for 12th all time on that list.

It was Taylor's 37th start in all competitions, tying her with Amy Rodriguez for 11th all time on that list.
