Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: FCKC Make it Two in a Row

Stats and milestones from FC Kansas City’s win against the Portland Thorns.

After going winless in nine straight, FC Kansas City won their second game in four days as they picked up a come from behind 2-1 win over the Portland Thorns in Kansas City last night. Here are some stats and milestones from that game.

Yael Averbuch's goal was her 6th in league play and all competitions for FCKC, breaking her tie with Renae Cuellar for 6th all time on both lists.

In the 27th minute, Averbuch moved past Lauren Holiday and into 6th place for minutes played in all competitions, Averbuch finished the game with 4,687 minutes played.

Sydney Leroux scored her 4th goal for FCKC, tying her with Frances Silva, Elizabeth Bogus, and Courtney Jones for 8th in both league play and in all competitions.

In the 36th minute, Lo'eau LaBonta moved past Nikki Phillips and into 18th place for league minutes played for FCKC. Then in the 61st minute she moved past Silva and into 17th place on that list, she finished the game with 1,997 minutes played.

In the 60th minute, LaBonta moved past Kristie Mewis and into 19th place for minutes played in all competitions, finishing with 1,997 minutes played.

In the 84th minute, Brittany Taylor moved past Merritt Mathias and into 10th place for minutes played in all competitions, Taylor finished the game with 3,420 minutes played.

Taylor started her 38th game in all competitions for the Blues, tying her with Mathias for 10th all time on that list.

Desiree Scott made her 49th league appearance, breaking her tie with Holiday for 8th all time on that list.

Scott started her 48th league game, tying her with Holiday for 7th all time on that list.

Shea Groom made her 48th league appearance, tying her with Holiday for 9th all time on that list.

Groom and Scott both made their 50th appearance in all competitions for FCKC, they're the 9th and 10th players to hit that mark.
