Juliao Signs in Slovakia - Former Sporting Player Update

Igor Juliao’s second stint with Sporting Kansas City didn’t go the way anyone desired as he was limited to just a single appearance for the club, a disastrous 45 minutes in KC’s loss to Minnesota earlier this year. Juliao was waived by the club back at the end of June cutting his year long loan from Fluminense short. Juliao didn’t return to the Brazilian club though, instead signing with an affiliate club of Fluminense’s, signing with FC STK 1914 Samorin in the Slovakian second division. In ealry July Juliao signed with the club and debuted in their 2-0 win to open their 2017-2018 campaign.

It was also a good week for former midfielder, Emmanuel Appiah who after signing for Saint Louis FC last week scored on his debut in Saint Louis’ 1-0 win over the Richmond Kickers.
