Two reports that came out on Friday say that Sporting Kansas City will sign Martinique forward Kévin Parsemain on a free transfer.
The original report came from RCI Martinique and was confirmed by MLS reporter Jeff Rueter.
Can confirm: Kévin Parsemain set to join #SportingKC on a free, pending ITC. The striker was a breakout star in this year's Gold Cup. #MLS https://t.co/fwPsBQ9dsf

Parsemain scored three goals in the 2017 Gold Cup, including two against the United States. He’s the all-time leading scorer for Martinique. He reportedly scored 34 goals in a season for Golden Lion, a club in Martinique.
Parsemain has some brief MLS experience as a training camp-hero for the Seattle Sounders. He electrified the preseason with several goals but an ACL tear knocked him out of the 2014 season and he was waived by the Sounders a year later.
This report has not been confirmed by the club, who are announcing another signing, 15-year-old Gianluca Busio, today. However, Thad Bell of The Blue Testament confirmed that Parsemain is in town.
I have confirmed Kevin Parsemain is in Kansas City but unsure of his status
