Rosell Has a New Club - Former Sporting Player Update

Oriol Rosell looks to have a new club for the 2017-2018 season in Europe. Rosell is on the outside looking in at Sporting Club de Portugal, but it still under contract with the Lisbon club. Rosell is set for another loan move this season, this time to recently promoted club, Portimonense.

Also this past week, Sporting Kansas City’s first homegrown player, Jon Kempin had a mixed week. He earned the start in both of the LA Galaxy’s games this past week. Unfortunately they were both losses for the Galaxy who continue to struggle through he 2017 season. On the plus side for Kempin he made two penalty kick saves for the Galaxy in their 2-0 loss to the Columbus Crew. While that’s certainly little consolation to Kempin, he became the fifth player to save two penalties in one MLS game.
