What We Want to Happen Today 9/17

Sporting Kansas City last night got some of the results they needed, a Dallas-Seattle draw and a Portland loss. Some of the other results didn’t quite go their way but helped some (Vancouver drawing with Columbus). Today there is just one game in MLS play, here’s a look at what we want to happen.

What we want to happen - Philadelphia win

New York is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, but trail Sporting by just three points in the single table. A loss against the Union would leave the Red Bulls behind Sporting for another week in the single table.
