On Campus: Sporting Academy Players Play Provider

The college soccer season continues along and this week was a busy week for former Sporting Kansas City academy players on the field, specifically in terms of setting up teammates for goals. This past week, Sporting academy players assisted on 11 goals this past week. Seniors Blake Levine and Zach Wright led the way recording five and three assists respectively in their schools’ games.

Elsewhere, freshman Leroy Enzugusi continues to find the net for Drake scoring in both of Drake’s 2-1 wins this past week.

Class of 2013

Seo-In Kim (UCSB) - MF - RSr - Came on as a substitute in UCSB's 1-0 win over Portland.

Wes White (Coastal Carolina) - F - RSr - Came off the bench and had a goal and an assist in Coastal Carolina's 2-1 OT win over College of Charleston. Started Coastal Carolina's 1-0 OT loss to VCU.

Class of 2014

Heath Honold (West Virginia) - F - Sr - Did not play in either of West Virginia's games.

Mason Leonard (Drake) - D - Sr - Started both Drake's 2-1 win over Western Illinois and their 2-1 win over UMKC.

Blake Levine (Baker) - F - Sr - Started and had three assists in Baker's 3-0 win over Graceland. Started and had two assists in Baker's 4-3 win over Grand View.

Matthew Lewis (Fordham) - D - Sr - Started both Fordham's 3-0 win over Manhattan and their 1-0 win over Bryant.

Andy Lopez (North Carolina) - MF - RJr - Came on as a substitute in UNC's 4-1 win over George Washington. Did not play in UNC's 2-1 win over Virginia.

Noah Mudd (Trevecca) - D - Sr -Started Trevecca's 3-1 loss to Walsh and their 4-3 win over Malone.

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - Sr - Out for the season.

Zach Wright (North Carolina) - F - Sr - Started and had three assists in UNC's 4-1 win over George Washington. Started UNC's 2-1 win over Virginia.

Andrew Blalock (Drake) - GK - RSo - Did not play in either of Drake's games.

Robert DeWitt III (Xavier) - MF - Jr - Did not play in Xavier's 1-1 draw with Kentucky. Came on as a substitute in Xavier's 3-0 loss to St. John's.

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RSo - Did not play in Furman's 1-0 loss to South Carolina. Came on as a substitute in Furman's 5-4 loss to Gardner-Webb.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - Jr - Started Creighton's 2-1 win over Tulsa and their 2-0 win over Villanova.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Jr - Came off the bench and had a goal and an assist in Drake's 2-1 win over Western Illinois and came on as a substitute in Drake's 2-1 win over UMKC.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Jr - Did not play in either of Notre Dame's games.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Jr - Did not play in Air Force's 0-0 draw with Gonzaga.

Alexis Quevedo (UMKC) - MF - Jr - Started both UMKC's 1-0 loss to Missouri State and their 2-1 loss to Drake.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Did not play in Niagara's 1-1 draw with St. Bonaventure.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Jr - Did not play in Loyola's 1-0 win over SIU-Edwardsville.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - So - Started Yale's 1-0 win over Saint Joseph's.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - So - Started both West Virginia's 3-0 win over American and their 1-0 win over Dayton.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - So - Started Northwestern's 1-0 win over UIC and their 3-1 loss to Michigan.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - Fr - Started Gonzaga's 0-0 draw with Air Force and their 2-1 win over Utah Valley, recording an assist.
