On Campus: Update on Academy Players in College

The college soccer season continues into the Labor Day weekend, with all teams that have Sporting Kansas City academy players on their roster in action now. Here’s a look at how academy players did on campus this past week.

Class of 2013

Seo-In Kim (UCSB) - MF - RSr - Started UCSB's 1-0 loss to San Diego.

Wes White (Coastal Carolina) - F - RSr - Did not play in Coastal Carolina's 3-0 loss to Georgetown. Started Coastal Carolina's 2-0 win over UNC Greensboro.

Class of 2014

Heath Honold (West Virginia) - F - Sr - Did not play in West Virginia's 4-1 win over Wright State.

Mason Leonard (Drake) - D - Sr - Started Drake's 2-0 loss to Air Force. Started Drake's 2-0 loss to Denver.

Blake Levine (Baker) - F - Sr - Started Baker's 1-0 loss to #6 Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Matthew Lewis (Fordham) - D - Sr - Started and had an assist in Fordham's 1-0 win over St. John's.

Andy Lopez (North Carolina) - MF - RJr - Came on as a substitute in UNC's 1-0 loss to UNC Wilmington.

Noah Mudd (Trevecca) - D - Sr - Started Trevecca's 0-0 draw with Lee University. Did not play in Trevecca's 4-0 loss to Montevallo.

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - Sr - Did not play in West Virginia's 4-1 win over Wright State.

Zach Wright (North Carolina) - F - Sr - Started UNC's 1-0 win over UNC Wilmington.

Andrew Blalock (Drake) - GK - RSo - Did not play in either of Drake's games.

Robert DeWitt III (Xavier) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Xavier's 3-0 win over Harvard.

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RSo - Did not play in Furman's 1-0 win over Denver. Came on as a substitute in Furman's 1-0 win over Air Force.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Creighton's 1-0 win over Grand Canyon, their 3-0 loss to Stanford, and their 3-0 win over Cal.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Jr - Started Drake's 2-0 loss to Air Force. Came on as a substitute in Drake's 2-0 loss to Denver.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Jr - Did not play in Notre Dame's 1-0 win over UConn.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Jr - Did not play in either of Air Force's games.

Alexis Quevedo (UMKC) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in UMKC's 0-0 draw with Rutgers.
