On Campus: Rice Scores First Collegiate Goal

An update on Sporting academy players in college.

The college soccer continues on and Sporting Kansas City academy graduate, Reagan Rice scored his first collegiate goal for Cal Poly this past week. The freshman scored the Mustangs’ third goal late in their 3-0 win over Sacramento State. Here’s the rest of this week’s update.

Class of 2014

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - RSr - Started and had an assist in West Virginia’s 5-1 win over SIU Edwardsville.

Class of 2015

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RJr - Came on as a substitute in both Furman’s 2-1 win over Wofford and 2-0 win over East Tennessee.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RJr - Came on as a substitute in Creighton’s 1-0 loss to Akron. Started Creighton’s 0-0 draw with Providence.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Sr - Started Drake’s 2-2 draw with North Illinois and 1-0 loss to Bradley.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Sr - Did not play in Notre Dame’s 2-1 win over Michigan. Started Notre Dame’s 5-2 loss to Virginia Tech.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Sr - Started Air Force’s 4-0 win over San Jose State and 2-1 win over Seattle U.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started Niagara’s 1-0 loss to Manhattan.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Sr - Did not play in Loyola’s 4-0 win over Moody Bible. Started and had an assist in Loyola’s 3-0 win over Evansville.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - RJr - Started both Northeastern’s 3-2 win over Ouachita Baptist 4-0 win over Southwest Baptist.

Class of 2016

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - RSo - Did not play in Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Gonzaga.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started West Virginia’s 5-1 win over SIU Edwardsville.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Jr - Came on as a substitute and had an assist in Yale’s 2-1 win over Army. Came on as a substitute in Yale’s 1-1 draw with Penn.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started West Virginia’s 5-1 win over SIU Edwardsville.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Jr - Started Northwestern’s 3-1 win over UIC. Did not play in Northwestern’s 0-0 draw with Michigan State.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Niagara’s 1-0 loss to Manhattan.

Class of 2017

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - So - Did not play in Marquette’s 2-1 win over Xavier.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - So - Started Tulsa’s 1-0 loss to Memphis.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - So - Did not play in Gonzaga’s 1-0 loss to Missouri State.

Leroy Enzugusi (Drake) - F - So - Came on as a substitute and scored a goal in Drake’s 2-2 draw with Northern Illinois. Started Drake’s 1-0 loss to Bradley.

Alex Kaddah (Denver) - MF - RFr - Did not play in Denver’s 1-0 loss to Maryland. Came on as a substitute in Denver’s 4-0 win over Western Illinois.

Steven Tekesky (West Virginia) - GK - So - Started West Virginia’s 5-1 win over SIU Edwardsville.
