On Campus: Bromstedt Scores Two, but Tulsa Falls

An update on Sporting academy players in college.

The college soccer season continues as Sporting Kansas City academy graduates continue to play. This week, Chase Bromstedt scored two goals for Tulsa, but unfortunately the two goals weren’t enough as Tulsa fell to Central Florida 4-3 this past week. Here’s a look at how all the graduates did.

Class of 2014

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - RSr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Binghamton and 2-1 win over Western Michigan.

Class of 2015

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RJr - Did not play in either of Furman’s games.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RJr - Did not play in Creighton’s 1-0 loss to Denver. Came on as a substitute in Creighton’s 3-1 win over St. John’s.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Sr - No game this week.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Sr - Did not play in Notre Dame’s 3-0 win over Northwestern. Started Notre Dame’s 2-1 win over Louisville.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Sr - Started both Air Force’s 1-0 loss to CSU Bakersfield and 3-1 win over Cal Baptist.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started both Niagara’s 2-1 loss to Rider and 5-1 win over Monmouth.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Sr - Started Loyola’s 0-0 draw with Valparaiso.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - RJr - Started both Northeastern’s 1-0 win over Harding and 5-1 win over Southwest Baptist.

Class of 2016

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - RSo - Came on as a substitute in Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Western Illinois. Did not play in Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Bradley.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started and scored a goal in West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Binghamton. Started West Virginia’s 2-1 win over Western Michigan.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Yale’s 1-1 draw with Dartmouth.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Binghamton and 2-1 win over Western Michigan.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Jr - Started both Northwestern’s 3-0 loss to Notre Dame and 0-0 draw with Penn State.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Niagara’s 2-1 loss to Rider, started their 5-1 win over Monmouth.

Class of 2017

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - So - Did not play in Marquette’s 1-0 loss to Providence.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - So - Started and scored two goals in Tulsa’s 4-3 loss to Central Florida.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - So - Did not play in Gonzaga’s 3-2 loss to Portland.

Leroy Enzugusi (Drake) - F - So - No game this week.

Alex Kaddah (Denver) - MF - RFr - Did not play in either of Denver’s games.

Steven Tekesky (West Virginia) - GK - So - Started both West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Binghamton and 2-1 win over Western Michigan.

Patrick Wilkinson (Saint Louis) - D/M - So - Came on as a substitute in Saint Louis’ 3-1 loss to Rhode Island. Started Saint Louis’ 4-2 win over La Salle.

Class of 2018

Grayson Barber (Clemson) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Clemson’s 3-1 win over Charleston. Started Clemson’s 2-1 loss to Pitt.

Alex Brown (Coastal Carolina) - GK - Fr - Did not play in Coastal Carolina’s 5-1 win over UPST.

Colin Innes (Kentucky) - MF - Fr - Did not play in either of Kentucky’s games.

Connor Jordan-Hyde (Virginia Tech) - GK - Fr - Did not play in either of Virginia Tech’s games.

Roman Knox (North Carolina) - MF - Fr - Did not play in either of UNC’s games.

Dawson Lee (Missouri State) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in both Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Western Illinois and 1-0 win over Bradley.

Isaac McGinnis (Penn) - MF - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Penn’s 2-0 loss to Columbia.

Reagan Mugume-Rice (Cal Poly) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in both Cal Poly’s 1-1 draw with UC Davis and 1-0 loss to UC Riverside.

Mason Visconti (Clemson) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Clemson’s 3-1 win over Charleston. Did not play in Clemson’s 2-1 loss to Pitt.
