On Campus: Regular Season Ends

The regular season of the college season has come to a close and conference tournaments around the country are kicking off. Some teams like West Virginia have put themselves in a good position for the NCAA tournament having won their conference’s regular season title this year. Here’s this week’s full update on Sporting Kansas City academy players in college.

Class of 2014

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - RSr - Started, scoring a goal and adding two assists in West Virginia’s 4-3 win over Northern Illinois.

Class of 2015

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RJr - Started Furman’s 4-2 win over Belmont.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RJr - Started Creighton’s 2-1 loss to Georgetown.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Sr - Started Drake’s 1-0 loss to Valparaiso.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Sr - Did not play in either of Notre Dame’s games.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Sr - No game this week.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started Niagara’s 3-0 loss to Marist.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Sr - Started Loyola’s 2-0 loss to Washington.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - RJr - Started both Northeastern’s 2-0 over Upper Iowa and 1-0 win over Lindenwood.

Class of 2016

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - RSo - Did not play in Missouri State’s 1-0 loss to Central Arkansas.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started and had an assist in West Virginia’s 4-3 win over Northern Illinois.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Yale’s 1-0 loss to Brown.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started and had an assist in West Virginia’s 4-3 win over Northern Illinois.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Jr - Did not play in either of Northwestern’s games.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Niagara’s 3-0 loss to Marist.

Class of 2017

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - So - Did not play in either of Marquete’s games.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - So - Started and scored a goal in Tulsa’s 2-1 win over UConn.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - So - Did not play in Gonzaga’s 1-0 loss to Saint Mary’s.

Leroy Enzugusi (Drake) - F - So - Started Drake’s 1-0 loss to Valparaiso.

Alex Kaddah (Denver) - MF - RFr - Came on as a substitute in Denver’s 5-0 win over Oral Roberts.

Steven Tekesky (West Virginia) - GK - So - Started West Virginia’s 4-3 win over Northern Illinois.

Patrick Wilkinson (Saint Louis) - D/M - So - Started both Saint Louis’ 3-3 draw with Saint Joseph’s and 1-0 loss to George Mason.

Grayson Barber (Clemson) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Clemson’s 2-0 loss to Notre Dame.

Alex Brown (Coastal Carolina) - GK - Fr - Did not play in Coastal Carolina’s 4-1 win over Georgia Southern.

Colin Innes (Kentucky) - MF - Fr - Did not play in Kentucky’s 3-0 win over Old Dominion.

Connor Jordan-Hyde (Virginia Tech) - GK - Fr - Did not play in either of Virginia Tech’s games.

Roman Knox (North Carolina) - MF - Fr - Did not play in UNC’s 3-0 win over Virginia Tech.
