December Stat Run Down for the Comets

Stats and milestones from the Comets’ games in December.

The Kansas City Comets kicked off their 2018-2019 season with a 2-4 record, all four losses coming within the South Central Division against the Milwaukee Wave (twice) and St. Louis Ambush (twice). The Comets got wins over expansion side, Mississauga Metrostars and the Ambush, both on the road, here are stats and milestones from the Comets six games in December.

Lucas Rodriguez’s appearance against St. Louis on 12/22 was his 150th league appearance for the club, he’s only the 2nd player to hit that mark.

Rodriguez’s goal on 12/29 against St. Louis was his 100th in all competitions for the Comets, he’s the 4th player to hit that mark.

In the Comets game against Mississauga on 12/13, Stefan Stokic made his 150th appearance in all competitions for the Comets, he’s the 6th player to hit that mark.

Nacho Flores made his 50th appearance in all competitions for the Comets on 12/22 against St. Louis, he’s the 19th player to hit that mark.

Flores’ 4th goal vs Mississauga was his 25th in league play for the Comets, moving him ahead of Milan Ivanovic and into 14th all time in league play for the Comets. It was his 27th in all competitions, also moving him ahead of Ivanovic on that list.

Flores’ assist on 12/29 against St. Louis was his 28th in all competitions, breaking his tie with Robert Palmer for 9th all time on that list.

Bryan Perez’ assist vs St. Louis on December 16th was his 72nd in all competitions for the Comets, tying him with Lucas Rodriguez for 4th all time on that list.

Robert Palmer’s assist against Milwaukee on December 1st was his 23rd in league play for the Comets, breaking his tie with Geison for 11th all time on that list.

Anthony Grant’s second goal on 12/29 against St. Louis was his 22nd in league play for the Comets, tying him with Guerrero Pino for 17th all time on that list.

His second goal was his 22nd in all competitions as well, tying him with Pino for 17th on that list as well.

Kiel Williams’ appearance on 12/29 was his 50th league appearance for the Comets, he’s the 15th player to hit that mark for KC.
