Across State Lines: Saad Named USL Player of the Week

After leaving Sporting Kansas City, former forward, Soony Saad looks like he’s found a decent landing spot, signing with Indy Eleven this offseason for their first season in the USL. Through the club’s first four games this season, Saad has two goals and one assist, his two goals this past week gave Indy the 2-1 win over Nashville SC. The two goals, one a swerving shot that sent goalkeeper Matt Pickens the wrong way off. For his efforts, Saad was named the USL player of the week for this past week.
