MLS: Sporting KC at Minnesota United FC Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Your favorite foursome congregated to share quick reactions to Sporting Kansas City’s 1-1 draw with Minnesota United on Sunday afternoon. It was supposed to be a short talk, but this crew is never good at that sort of thing.

The podcast’s faith in Khiry Shelton all season paid off with his goal, so the weekly striker discussion was a happy one this time around! But we also break down the Minnesota goal (try to blame someone) and begin a search party for Gerso because he was notably absent from the pitch (for some reason).

Bob says the movie Flubber was “forgettable”. A claim like this obviously launched a serious conversation about the 1997 Robin Williams science-fiction comedy.

Yohan Croizet, as always, was spoken about at length. He’s started 8 games now. If there is more to come, how long must we wait? Thad compares the situation to Benny Feilhaber’s struggles during his first season in Kansas City.

After seeing SKC dominate the match in such a way, they really should have found a winner at some point. We ask all the questions about why that never happened. We ended up giving a (surprisingly) well-rounded discussion about the match.

Before leaving we also spoke about the recent Supreme Court ruling regarding sports betting and the impact it might have on MLS.
