Sporting Kansas City and the Swope Park Rangers both picked up a point on the road this past weekend. The Rangers picked up a 0-0 draw on the road against Rio Grande Valley FC while Sporting settled for a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United. Here are some stats and milestones from the weekend’s games.

Sporting Kansas City

Matt Besler made his 238th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for 2nd all time on that list.

Besler started his 273rd game in all competitions, breaking his tie with Nick Garcia for 2nd all time on that list.

Khiry Shelton scored his first goal for Sporting.

Swope Park Rangers

In the 11th minute, Kharlton Belmar moved ahead of Colton Storm and into 6th place for league minutes played. Then in the 73rd minute, Belmar moved ahead of Adrian Zendejas and into 5th place for league minutes played for Swope, he finished the game wtih 2,807 minutes played.
