Across State Lines: Palmer-Brown Earns Call Up

US national team head coach, Dave Sarachan called up a young squad for the USA’s friendly in Philadelphia against Bolivis on Monday the 28th. While no Sporting Kansas City player was called up for the game and potentially for a pair of friendlies in Europe later, former Sporting homegrown defender, Erik Palmer-Brown, was called up for the game. Palmer-Brown who is now under contract with Manchester City but has spent 2018 with KV Kortrijk in the Belgian league will be looking to get his first senior national team cap after captaining the US U20 team at last year’s World Cup.

Also called up this week is another former Kansas City defender, Mechack Jerome, who was called up by Haiti for their upcoming friendly against Argentina.
