Shades of Blue - Preview the Crew

The regular crew is back in the studio to give you a preview ahead of Sporting Kansas City’s Retro Night clash with Columbus Crew SC. We’ve got some audio from Peter Vermes & Johnny Russell and we look at the game from all angles.

Vermes tells us to not expect the Crew to come to CMP on Sunday and bunker. Russell sees similarities between his team and this weekend’s opponent. So we’re expecting a more wide open game with two confident, talented teams.

Jimmy Medranda appears to be dealing with an injury still - will Seth Sinovic or Cristian Lobato get the start at left-back?

There is also a lengthy talk about who is the PK taker for SKC right now. Thad reveals that he would “date” Ilie, although the Spaniard is not his choice to take penalty kicks.

The Media Game will be played on Sunday with Bob, Thad and Cody all participating. We left plenty of time for trash-talk.
