Sporting Kansas City ended their two losing streak with a 2-2 draw against defending MLS Cup Champions, Toronto FC at Children’s Mercy Park. In the process, club captain, Matt Besler set another club record. Here are this week’s stats and milestones.

In the 67th minute, Matt Besler moved ahead of Kerry Zavagnin and became the club’s all time leader in minutes played in all competitions for KC. He finished the game with 25,312 minutes played.

Ilie Sanchez’s goal was Sporting KC’s 1,200th in all competitions.

Graham Zusi made his 237th league appearance, tying him with Zavagnin for 3rd all time on that list.

Tim Melia and Ike Opara both played their 100th league game for KC, they’re the 33rd and 34th players to hit that mark.
