On Campus: Barber Scores First Collegiate Goal

The college soccer season continues to roll along with teams starting to reach the conference portion of their schedules. This week, Sporting Kansas City academy player, Grayson Barber scored his first goal of his collegiate career as Clemson topped Furman 5-2. Barber also had an assist in the game for the Tigers. Here is the rest of this week’s update.

Class of 2014

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - RSr - Started West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Cincinnati. Did not play in West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Dayton.

Class of 2015

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RJr - Came on as a substitute in Furman’s 5-2 loss to Clemson.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RJr - Started Creighton’s 1-0 win over Villanova.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - Sr - Started Drake’s 1-1 draw with Loyola.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - Sr - Started both Notre Dame’s 1-0 loss to Michigan State and 1-0 loss to UNC.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - Sr - Started Air Force’s 4-1 win over UMKC.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started Niagara’s 3-1 loss to Cornell.

Tucker Stephenson (Loyola) - F - Sr - Started both Loyola’s 1-0 win over DePaul and 1-1 draw with Drake.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - RJr - Started both Northeastern’s 5-0 win over Oklahoma Baptist and 4-1 loss to Fort Hayes State.

Class of 2016

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - RSo - Came on as a substitute in Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Valparaiso.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Cincinnati and 2-0 win over Dayton, scoring a goal in the first game.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Jr - Came on as a substitute in Yale’s 4-0 win over Bryant and 2-1 win over George Mason. Started Yale’s 1-0 win over Fairleigh Dickinson.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Jr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-0 win over Cincinnati and 2-0 win over Dayton.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Jr - Did not play in Northwestern’s 0-0 draw with Ohio State.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Jr - Started Niagara’s 3-1 loss to Cornell.

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - So - Did not play in either of Marquette’s games.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - So - Started Tulsa’s 1-0 loss to SMU.
