Two-thirds of Sporting Kansas City’s Hungarians will again report for international duty in October. It was reported on Monday that Botond Barath and Krisztian Nemeth will again be heading to Europe to play for their country.

Barath and Nemeth will join Hungary for a pair of Euro 2020 qualifiers at Croatia on October 10th and home against Azerbaijan on the 13th. Hungary are currently in third in Group E on nine points. They’re level with second place Slovakia, but lost the head to head series against them, dropping them to third.

Barath has regularly been starting for Hungary in internationals over the past 12 months. He’s earned five of his eight caps since signing for Sporting. Nemeth meanwhile has earned 37 caps, but has only earned three since his return to Kansas City in the summer of 2018.

The pair will depart for international duty after Sporting’s final game of the season in Dallas on Sunday.
