With the regular season done for college teams, conference tournaments are starting to kick off. Some former Sporting Kansas City academy players are already done with their tournaments as the ACC kicked off their tournament this past weekend. Other conferences like the Missouri Valley and WAC kick off this week with their tournaments. They’ll all conclude by Sunday at the latest with the selection for the 2019 tournament taking place next Monday. One former Sporting academy player will already be competing in the NCAA tournament as Yale and John Leisman clinched the Ivy League this season (they do not have a post season tournament).
