The first two rounds of the NCAA men’s soccer tournament are behind us and of the 12 Sporting Kansas City academy graduates who started the tournament, only three remain in the tournament. Of those three, only one is a regular contributor on the field, Grayson Barber of Clemson. Barber scored the winning goal in overtime for the Tigers in their 2-1 win over Charlotte on the weekend. Then there’s Ryan Fessler who is at Wake Forest. The fourth seeded Demon Deacons beat Maryland 3-0 on Sunday and will host Michigan in the third round.

In the NAIA, Massimo Salvoni and the Baker Wildcats won their first two games of the NAIA tournament this past weekend as well and are headed to Irvine California for the third round onward of the tournament.
