Across State Lines: Rosell Signs New Deal in Orlando

The MLS offseason is well underway with all sorts of drafts going on every other day it seems. A number of former Sporting Kansas City players are in the process of finding new clubs, but one has recently re-signed with his club. Oriol Rosell signed a new deal this week with Orlando City after initially having his option declined by the club. That option being declined gave some Sporting fans a couple days of hoping that another former player could be returning to the club. Unfortunately for them, yesterday, before the Re-Entry Draft took place, Rosell agreed to a new two year deal with the Lions taking him out of consideration for the draft.

Another former player who earned himself a new contract is Tony Rocha who also agreed to a new deal this week. Rocha became a utility midfielder for New York City FC this past year and even earned his first international call up to represent Belize.
