The college soccer season ended over the weekend as Georgetown won the College Cup against Virginia on penalty kicks. For Sporting Kansas City academy players in college, their seasons ended the weekend before. With their seasons over, here’s a look at the stats for the academy players this season. Grayson Barber, a sophomore from Clemson, had the most goals and assists of any academy player, scoring 10 goals and adding nine assists in the season. Leroy Enzugusi, Drake junior finished second in goals with eight, while Sebastian Cruz finished second in assists with four. Barber also appeared in the most games this season, with 21 appearances for Clemson, the same as Logan Lucas and Steven Tekesky from West Virginia and Massimo Salvoni from Baker. Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Sr - Played and started all 21 of West Virginia’s games scoring one goal as West Virginia went 10-9-2.
Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Sr - Played in 15 games, starting 11 as Northwestern went 8-8-2.
Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Played in all 18 games, recording three goals and one assist as Niagara went 5-12-1.
