As a first attempt to get Blue Links started back up, here is a random, disorganized and not even close to comprehensive list of things I have found interesting this week.
Tigres midfielder Lucas Zelarayán could be coming to MLS: He is rumored to be going to Columbus but he would be a nice fit at Children’s Mercy Park next to Felipe Gutierrez and behind Alan Pulido. Let’s go out bid the Columbus Crew. What’s another eight million now that Sporting Kansas City is playing with real money?
Speaking of Pulido, it sounds like Omar Bravo really did advise him to come to Kansas City. Thank you Omar!
Sam Stejskal is reporting that the Chicago Fire have their new sporting director: Was that his face when he saw the new logo?
Sources: The Chicago Fire have found their sporting director. Georg Heitz, formerly of FC Basel, is finalizing an agreement to join the club. https://t.co/LHZStvuiqx

According to Goff, the schedule should be out Thursday.
Seth Sinovic signs with New England, his first club before coming to Sporting Kansas City. Hopefully the New England Revolution treat him well. Mike Kuhn has all of the stats and numbers in his Across State Lines post. You know he is going to score on SKC next time the two teams play.
A “Spirited” announcement: Okay, it is a lame joke that has already been used but I had to go with it. So Sporting KC and J. Rieger & Co. are going to have some special drinks and events. Will media taste-testing be involved?
An interesting look at SKC from American Soccer Analysis: It does make me wonder how knowledgeable they are about Sporting KC when they have Graham Smith listed at left back…
Dwyer to become a Loon? Okay, team name, not personality trait... Anyway, there is a report of Dom Dwyer going to Minnesota United. Not sure how reliable this source is but it seems wherever Dwyer posts a picture from on instagram triggers a rumor. This one seems a little more believable than the Vancouver Whitecaps rumor that had their fans in a panic. Could his former coach be bringing him to his new spiritual home? (Classic Reference)
Phoenix Rising Formally Announces Ability360 As Official Power Soccer Program Partner: Kudos to Phoenix for being involved and sharing their brand with the local power soccer club. Would love to see Kansas City have one also so Sporting KC could do the same thing.
Serginio Dest scored his first goals for Ajax. Let him shoot more... Maybe Greg Berhalter can try him at center forward next?
Oh OKAY, Sergiño x 2.

what a finish. https://t.co/to7GIy55Ln pic.twitter.com/L6QzBzZkgg
Speaking of US Soccer. “In 2020, U.S. Soccer will add performance reviews for all employees.” Wait, they never had performance reviews before? That could explain a lot. Question, will these performance reviews be given to coaches and brothers upper management? If they need someone that has experience writing and giving performance reviews as well as some soccer knowledge I am willing to help out. Honest, I have no pre-conceived notions of anyone’s failings...
