The Blue Testament doesn’t endorse gambling. You shouldn’t gamble with any money that you can’t afford to lose. These odds are for fun.

With the Major League Soccer season set to kick off today and Sporting Kansas City set to kick off MLS play on Sunday in Los Angeles, it’s the perfect time to look and see who the odds makers believe will raise MLS Cup at the end of this season.

It will come as no surprise that the New York Red Bulls and Atlanta United are both listed high in the odds to win the cup. What may come as a surprise is that the LA Galaxy are at equal odds as Atlanta to win the cup. Must be the Zlatan Ibrahimovic effect.

Los Angeles Football Club, New York City FC and the Seattle Sounders are all next in the order, all above Sporting KC.

Then comes SKC who come in with the 7th best odds to win the cup. They are tied with the 2018 MLS Western Conference Champions the Portland Timbers at 12 to 1. Even though we just told you not to bet, those aren’t terrible odds for a team it seems is being underrated.

At the other end of the spectrum are Orlando City SC and the Colorado Rapids who are 150 to 1 to win it all. Orlando could turn it around but a popular upset choice to make the playoffs in 2019 are the Rapids with their vast improvement this offseason (at least on paper). Making the playoffs are step one to winning it all and a record 14 teams will get in the tournament this season, up from 12 last year.

There are 24 teams now with the addition of FC Cincinnati who are seven from the bottom at 66 to 1.
