It wasn’t a great weekend across KC soccer this weekend with Sporting Kansas City drawing the New York Red Bulls while the Kansas City Comets and Swope Park Rangers both dropped games. Here’s stats and milestones from this weekend’s game.

Sporting Kansas City

Ilie Sanchez made his 50th straight league start for Kansas City.

Johnny Russell scored his 14th league goal for KC, tying him with Jack Jewsbury and Daniel Salloi for 20th all time on that list.

Russell scored his 9th league goal at home for KC, tying him with Gerso Fernandes and Claudio Bieler for 20th all time on that list.
