It was a lackluster weekend across soccer in Kansas City with Sporting Kansas City falling hard in San Jose, the Kansas City Comets season ending in Milwaukee, and the Swope Park Rangers (with the highlight of the weekend) getting a 0-0 draw on the road against Birmingham. Sporting’s Graham Zusi though hit a major milestone for Kansas City last night. Here’s the stats and milestones from this weekend.
Sporting Kansas City
In the 50th minute, Graham Zusi hit the 20,000 minute mark in league play for Sporting. He’s the 4th player to hit that mark for the club.
