Sporting Kansas City picked up their first road win of the season this weekend in Columbus, while the Swope Park Rangers got a draw on the road in Charleston. Here’s this week’s stats and milestones from the games.

Sporting Kansas City

Felipe Gutierrez’s goal was the 500th away from home in all competitions for Sporting KC in their history.

Gutierrez’s goal was his 8th away from home in league play, tying him with Sasha Victorine and Ike Opara for 14th all time on that list.

It was his 8th away from home in all competitions, tying him with Victorine, Francisco Gomez, and Mark Chung for 18th all time on that list.

Krisztian Nemeth made his 50th league appearance for KC, he’s the 64th player to reach that mark.

Seth Sinovic made his 201st league appearance, breaking his tie with Chris Klein for 9th all time on that list.

In the 6th minute, Tim Melia moved ahead of Matt McKeon and into 15th place for league minutes played for KC. In the 55th minute, Melia moved ahead of Michael Harrington and into 14th place on that list. Melia finished the game with 11,669 minutes played.

At 33 years, 39 days, Melia became the 19th oldest player to start a league game for Kansas City, moving ahead of Mark Santel.
