Across State Lines: Tyrpak Late Winner Lifts Austin

Expansion USL Championship side, the Austin Bold kept their strong campaign going with a 3-2 win against Orange County this week. After losing a 2-0 first half lead, former Swope Park Ranger and one time Sporting Kansas City player, Kris Tyrpak stepped up in stoppage time to score a winner for the Bold. The win sees the Bold move to 29 points on the season and 4th place in the Western Conference. With the top 10 teams making the playoffs, the Bold are only 3 points clear of 10th place Oklahoma City at this point of the season.
