In the 19th minute, Benny Feilhaber moved ahead of Mo Johnston and into 12th place for league minutes played for Sporting, he finished the game with 12,672 minutes played.

Feilhaber made his 142nd league start, tying him with Johnston and Jack Jewsbury for 11th all time on that list.

At 33 years, 72 days, Tim Melia is the 20th oldest player to appear in a game in all competitions, knocking Uche Okafor out of the top 20.

Melia made his 159th start in all competitions, tying him with Matt McKeon for 13th all time on that list.

Johnny Russell’s assist was his 21st in all competitions, tying him with Kei Kamara and McKeon for 12th all time on that list.

It was Russell’s 15th league assist, tying him with Claudio Lopez and Chris Henderson for 19th all time on that list.

Roger Espinoza earned his 10th red card in MLS play, the first player to reach that mark for the club.
