Sporting Kansas City’s rough season continued last Friday with a road loss to New York City FC. As usual, in the latest episode of No Other Pod we break down the game, talk about what went wrong, and answer your questions about where Sporting KC goes from here.
But, the best part of the show is an amazing interview with Sporting KC Manager of Youth Programs, Brennan Williams! He joins the show to talk youth development, the SKC Academy, and how the club works with kids beginning at age two to build a pipeline to the senior Sporting KC roster. We also talk with Brennan about the adult camp he helped plan, and he gives us an inside look at what it was like to work for the Columbus Crew during the #SaveTheCrew movement. It’s all fascinating stuff, and well worth your time!
Lastly, we also do a brief preview of Seattle and talk Inter Miami’s first ever signings.
