Across State Lines: Arnaud Named Houston’s Interim Head Coach

Last night the Houston Dynamo announced that they had parted ways with head coach Wilmer Cabrera as the club fell to their fifth straight defeat over the weekend. Taking his place on an interim basis for the rest of the season is former Sporting Kansas City captain, Davy Arnaud. Arnaud has been an assistant with the Dynamo since 2017. Before that Arnaud had spent 2016 as an assistant with DC United, the club he’d ended his playing career with the year before. He now takes the reigns in his first head coaching gig as the Dynamo sit in 9th place in the Western Conference with a 9-13-3 record, six points out of a playoff spot.
