On Campus: Enzugusi Goal Helps Drake Win Conference Opener

The conference season is starting up for Sporting Kansas City academy players in college, junior forward, Leroy Enzugusi helped Drake get off to a good start to their conference play in the Missouri Valley Conference this past week. Enzugusi scored a goal in Drake’s 2-0 win over Bradley to start the conference season. Here’s the rest of this week’s update.

Class of 2015

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RSr - Started both Creighton’s 2-1 win over Omaha and 1-0 win over Marquette.

Class of 2016

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Sr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-1 win over Cincinnati and 2-0 loss to Dayton, recording an assist in the first game.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Sr - Started both Yale’s 1-0 win over Fairfield and 2-0 win over Stony Brook.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Sr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-1 win over Cincinnati and 2-0 loss to Dayton.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Sr - Started Northwestern’s 3-1 win over Maryland.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started Niagara’s 7-1 loss to Dartmouth.

Class of 2017

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - RSo - Did not play in Marquette’s 2-1 loss to Milwaukee. Came on as a substitute in Marquette’s 1-0 loss to Creighton.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - Jr - Started both Tulsa’s 1-0 loss to Saint Louis and 4-0 win over Incarnate Word.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - Jr - Did not play in either of Gonzaga’s games.

Leroy Enzugusi (Drake) - F - Jr - Started both Drake’s 1-0 win over Western Illinois and 2-0 win over Bradley, scoring a goal in the second game.

Alex Kaddah (Denver) - MF - RSo - Did not play in Denver’s 2-1 loss to SMU.

Steven Tekesky (West Virginia) - GK - Jr - Started both West Virginia’s 2-1 win over Cincinnati and 2-0 loss to Dayton.

Patrick Wilkinson (Saint Louis) - D/M - Jr - Started both Saint Louis’ 1-0 win over Tulsa and 1-0 win over Davidson.

Class of 2018

Grayson Barber (Clemson) - F - So - Started and had 2 assists in Clemson’s 3-2 win over Fordham. Came on as a substitute and scored a goal before being sent off in Clemson’s 3-1 win over Duke.

Alex Brown (Lipscomb) - GK - RFr - Came on as a substitute in Lipscomb’s 1-0 win over Jacksonville.

Colin Innes (Kentucky) - MF - RFr - Came on as a substitute in Kentucky’s 3-0 win over Florida Atlantic.

Connor Jordan-Hyde (Virginia Tech) - GK - So - Did not play in either of Virginia Tech’s games.

Gabe Kash (Marquette) - D - RFr - Did not play in either of Marquette’s games.

Roman Knox (North Carolina) - MF - RFr - Did not play in either of UNC’s games.

Dawson Lee (Missouri State) - F - So - Started and had an assist in Missouri State’s 3-1 win over Valparaiso. Came on as a substitute in Missouri State’s 2-1 win over Loyola.

Isaac McGinnis (Penn) - MF - So - Started Penn’s 1-1 draw with Rutgers. Did not play in Penn’s 1-0 win over Temple.

Reagan Mugume-Rice (Cal Poly) - F - So - Did not play in Cal Poly’s 3-0 win over Westmont.

Mason Visconti (Kentucky) - F - So - Came on as a substitute in Kentucky’s 3-0 win over Florida Atlantic.

Alec Wons (Marquette) - GK - RFr - Did not play in either of Marquette’s games.

Sebastian Cruz (Cal State Fullerton) - M - Fr - Started and had an assist in Fullerton’s 2-1 win over San Francisco.

Ryan Fessler (Wake Forest) - MF - Fr - Did not play in either of Wake’s games.

Dontell Gilyard (UMKC) - D - Fr - Started UMKC’s 2-0 win over Western Illinois.

Johnny Hansen (Gonzaga) - D - Fr - Started both Gonzaga’s 2-0 win over California Baptist and 2-2 draw with UC Irvine.

Sean Karani (Temple) - F - Fr - Started both Temple’s 1-0 win over Delaware and 1-0 loss to Penn.

Karson Kendall (High Point) - D - Fr - Started both High Point’s 1-0 win over Wofford and 2-0 loss to East Tennessee State.

Sebastian Kennedy (Barton County) - MF - Fr - Played in both Barton’s 4-0 win over Pratt and 1-0 win over Cloud County, scoring a goal in the later game.
