On Campus: Strong Start to the Season for Grayson Barber

College soccer finished up it’s second weekend of action, and former Sporting Kansas City academy player, Grayson Barber is enjoying a good start to his sophomore year at Clemson. After scoring two goals in the Tigers 4-1 win over South Carolina last week he added two more goals for Clemson this week to give him four goals through the seasons first two weeks. Here’s this week’s full update.

Class of 2015

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - RSr - Started Creighton’s 2-1 win over Akron.

Class of 2016

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Sr - Started West Virginia’s 1-0 loss to Delaware. Came on as a substitute in West Virginia’s 2-1 win over Wright State.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Sr - Started both Yale’s 1-1 draw with Syracuse and 2-2 draw with Colgate.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Sr - Started both West Virginia’s 1-0 loss to Delaware and 2-1 win over Wright State.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Sr - Started both Northwestern’s 2-0 loss to Lehigh and 3-0 loss to Bowling Green.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Sr - Started both Niagara’s 4-0 loss to Western Michigan and 2-1 win over Northern Kentucky.

Class of 2017

Christian Albelo (Marquette) - D - RSo - Came on as a substitute in Marquette’s 2-1 loss to South Florida.

Chase Bromstedt (Tulsa) - MF - Jr - Started both Tulsa’s 3-1 win over Lipscomb and 2-0 loss to Kentucky.

Joe Corner (Gonzaga) - MF - Jr - Started Gonzaga’s 2-1 loss to Marist. Came on as a substitute in Gonzaga’s 3-1 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson.

Leroy Enzugusi (Drake) - F - Jr - Started Drake’s 2-0 loss to Milwaukee. Started and scored a goal in Drake’s 4-3 win over UNLV.

Alex Kaddah (Denver) - MF - RSo - Came on as a substitute in Denver’s 0-0 draw with Seattle. Did not play in Denver’s 2-1 loss to Indiana. Started Denver’s 1-0 loss to Notre Dame.

Steven Tekesky (West Virginia) - GK - Jr - Started both West Virginia’s 1-0 loss to Delaware and 2-1 win over Wright State.

Patrick Wilkinson (Saint Louis) - D/M - Jr - Started Saint Louis’ 2-0 loss to SMU.

Class of 2018

Grayson Barber (Clemson) - F - So - Started and had a goal and an assist in Clemson’s 8-0 win over Detroit Mercy. Started and scored a goal in Clemson’s 2-1 win over UNC Greensboro.

Alex Brown (Lipscomb) - GK - So - Started Lipscomb’s 3-1 loss to Tulsa. Did not play in Lipscomb’s 3-0 win over East Tennessee State.

Colin Innes (Kentucky) - MF - RFr - Did not play in either of Kentucky’s games.

Connor Jordan-Hyde (Virginia Tech) - GK - So - Did not play in either of Virginia Tech’s games.

Gabe Kash (Marquette) - D - RFr - Came on as a substitute in Marquette’s 2-1 loss to South Florida.

Roman Knox (North Carolina) - MF - RFr - Came on as a substitute in UNC’s 6-0 win over Harvard.

Dawson Lee (Missouri State) - F - So - Came on as a substitute in both Missouri State’s 1-0 win over Santa Clara and 3-0 win over UMKC.

Isaac McGinnis (Penn) - MF - So - Started Penn’s 2-0 win over Monmouth.

Reagan Mugume-Rice (Cal Poly) - F - So - Came on as a substitute in Cal Poly’s 3-0 loss to San Diego.

Mason Visconti (Kentucky) - F - So - Came on as a substitute in both Kentucky’s 3-0 loss to Louisville and 2-0 win over Tulsa.

Alec Wons (Marquette) - GK - RFr - Did not play in Marquette’s 2-1 loss to South Florida.

Mohammad Abualnadi (Notre Dame) - D - Fr - Started Notre Dame’s 4-2 win over Seattle. Came on as a substitute in Notre Dame’s 1-0 win over Denver.

Sebastian Cruz (Cal State Fullerton) - M - Fr - Started and scored a goal in Cal State Fullerton’s 2-1 win over Loyola Chicago. Started Cal State Fullerton’s 2-0 win over Utah Valley.

Ryan Fessler (Wake Forest) - MF - Fr - Did not play in Wake’s 3-1 win over Dartmouth.

Dontell Gilyard (UMKC) - D - Fr - Started both UMKC’s 2-1 loss to Oral Roberts and 3-0 loss to Missouri State.

Johnny Hansen (Gonzaga) - D - Fr - Started both Gonzaga’s 2-1 loss to Marist and 3-1 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson.

Sean Karani (Temple) - F - Fr - Started both Temple’s 3-0 loss to Georgetown and 1-0 loss to Villanova.

Karson Kendall (High Point) - D - Fr - Started both High Point’s 1-0 loss to Charlotte and 1-0 loss to Virginia.

Sebastian Kennedy (Barton County) - MF - Fr - Played in Barton County’s 3-0 win over Garden City, 3-0 win over Western Texas, and 2-0 win over Rose State, recording an assist in the third game.

Massimo McGuire (Baker) - D - Fr - Started both Baker’s 3-2 loss to Florida National and 6-0 win over Avila.
