First, new Sporting Kansas City signing Alan Pulido gave the tiniest view of what the new SKC Secondary kit would look like for the 2020 MLS season. Just the bottom of a jersey was exposed and the navy blue/indigo color could be seen with polka dots in what may be Sporting Blue. Our own Jimmy Mack pointed it out on Twitter back in mid-January.

Thanks to the new a Fox Deportes and Pulido’s Instagram stories, it looks like the new secondary kit will be dark navy blue with light “Sporting blue” polka dots of some sort. pic.twitter.com/zTnsyu5MK0
Then today Major League Soccer released a promotional video and intrepid fans and pundits alike saw more of what appears to be the new SKC jersey. The best shot I saw came from Colin Cooper on Twitter in a reply to our own Mike Kuhn’s screenshot.
I was able to get a little more of the jersey and you can see the stars pic.twitter.com/Gj4ydyIxBJ

You can clearly see the two stars from Sporting’s two MLS Cup wins. Then in another reply to Mike’s post someone had a really close shot of the stripes and polka dots.

Personally, I’m going to do my best to wait to judge until I see it in full. I don’t love that the three stripes from Adidas is over the shoulder of all the new MLS kits I’ve seen so far this offseason. The official reveal happens on February 5th. More details on the launch party can be found at SportingKC.com.
