With the Play-In and Round One matches complete, Sporting Kansas City knows who and when they will play in the Western Conference Semifinals. Sporting KC already had home field throughout the Western Conference, but with the top two seeds in the Eastern Conference failing to advance, SKC now has home field advantage for the remainder of their playoffs.

Orlando City SC vs. New England Revolution

2 p.m. CT — ABC/ESPN Deportes / TSN /TVA Sports

The amazing turnaround continues for Orlando City SC (No. 4 seed) and head coach Oscar Pareja after a dramatic win in penalties over NYCFC. They face the New England Revolution (No. 8 seed) and veteran coach Bruce Arena. The Revolution made it this far by knocking off the Montreal Impact in the Play-In match and then outplaying Supporter Shield winning Philadelphia Union.

Columbus Crew SC vs. Nashville SC

7 p.m. CT, ESPN/ESPN Deportes / TSN / TVA Sports

Expansion side Nashville SC (No. 7 seed) faces the Columbus Crew SC (No. 3 seed) in a classic match of yellow versus yellow teams. Nashville has been successful on the back of a stingy defense but has an attack that has started to come alive. Nashville beat fellow expansion side Inter Miami in the Play-In round and then knocked off second seed Toronto FC. Columbus beat the NY Red Bulls in a hard fought match.

Seattle Sounders FC vs. FC Dallas

Reigning MLS Cup champions Seattle Sounders FC (No. 2 seed) beat a seriously depleted LAFC to advance to the Semifinal match with FC Dallas (No. 6 seed). Dallas knocked off higher seed Portland Timbers to win the honor of playing on turf in Seattle. The Sounders may have the best overall attacking group. Will the Sounders be able to overcome the time-wasting of Dallas?

Sporting Kansas City vs. Minnesota United FC

8 p.m. CT, FS1/FOX Deportes, TSN, TVA Sports

Sporting Kansas City (No. 1 seed) and Minnesota United (No. 4 seed) seems like a repeat but each team has grown and changed throughout the many seasons of 2020. What has been billed as “The Friendliest Rivalry in Sports” is becoming in little less cordial each time they play. Sporting KC struggled at times with San Jose but when it went to Penalties Tim Melia shutdown the Earthquakes. The Loons beat the Colorado Rapids with a stellar performance from Kevin Molino.
