Sporting Kansas City got the job down on a snow night in Utah to clinch first place in the Western Conference on Sunday night with a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake. Here are the stats and milestones for that game.

Sporting had six players make their league debut for the club in 2020, that’s tied for the fewest debuts in a single season with the 2003, 2004, and 2007 seasons.

In the 74th minute, Roger Espinoza hit the 20,000 minute mark in league play for KC, he’s the 5th player to reach that mark for the club.

Espinoza made his 229th league start for KC, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for 3rd all time on that list.

Tim Melia made his 167th league appearance for KC, tying him with Benny Feilhaber for 12th all time on that list.

Melia made his 175th appearance in all MLS competitions for KC, tying him with Feilhaber for 12th on that list as well.

Gianluca Busio made his 50th appearance in MLS competitions for Sporting, he’s the 73rd player to reach that mark.

Erik Hurtado’s goal was the 100th in all competitions between Sporting and Real Salt Lake.
