The game will be called live by new commentary team Nate Bukaty (our returning champion) and former Sporting KC player Jacob Peterson.

Sporting will play one more time after the game with Phoenix as they take on the MLS compatriots the New York Red Bulls (full preseason schedule) in the final game of preseason.

If You Couldn’t Watch Saturday

There are reports that the free stream on Saturday was blocked unless you lived in Kansas City or Tucson. Blackout policies are never popular with fans but to blackout fans with no way to get to the game seems extra harsh. If anything, blackout Tucson since locals could just come out and buy a ticket. Or better yet, just let everyone watch the game, it’s preseason!

The Blue Testament reached out to the team to see if the issue would come up again. They indicated it was possible but hoped to have positive news by Wednesday morning. If that news doesn’t come, there are a few possible workarounds.

First, fans reported being able to watch through the opponents website (RSL on Saturday). If you are having issues, your first stop could be PHXRisingFC.com. Their previous game was just a YouTube stream that was available on their site and on their YouTube page.

If that doesn’t work, Reddit user “Royal Taste” has a way to watch in Google Chrome.
