Across State Lines: Bieler Rejoins Old Club

Former Sporting Kansas City designated player, Claudio Bieler is returning to one of his former clubs for the upcoming season in Argentina. Bieler is rejoining Atletico Rafaela in the Argentine second division. Bieler played with the club in 2006 and 2007 appearing 36 times and scoring 16 goals. Bieler joins the club after leaving Independiente del Valle who he’d joined in 2019.

In other news this week, Kansas City native, Cece Kizer has earned herself a new contract with the Houston Dash, signing a new two year contract with the club through 2022. Along with announcing the new contract, the Dash also announced that Kizer was going on loan to Norwegian club Kolbotn IL for the rest of 2020. Kolbotn currently sits in eighth place in the Toppserien, the Norwegian first division.
