Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: 300 Starts for Besler

Stats and milestones from a tough weekend for KC’s two teams.

MLS: Houston Dynamo at Sporting Kansas City Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Sporting Kansas City and their USL team didn’t have the best weekend in terms of results on the road. Both Sporting and SKCII suffered one goal losses on the road, Sporting falling 2-1 to the Houston Dynamo while SKCII lost 3-2 in St. Louis. Here are the stats and milestones from those games.

Sporting KC

Matt Besler made his 300th start in MLS competitions, he’s the first player to reach that mark.

Tim Melia made his 164th appearance in all MLS competitions, tying him with Mo Johnston for 13th all time on that list.

Sporting KC II

Wilson Harris made his 50th league appearance, he’s the 6th player to reach that mark.

With his 50th appearance, Harris tied Parker Maher for 5th all time on that list.

In the 7th minute, Harris passed Alexsander and moved into 14th place for league minutes played for SKCII. In the 34th minute, Harris passed Hadji Barry and moved into 13th place all time on that list, he finished the game with 2,831 minutes played.

In the 7th minute, Harris passed Tyler Blackwood and moved into 14th place for minutes played in all competitions for SKCII. Harris finished the game wtih 2,839 minutes played.

Harris made his 51st appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Mark Anthony Gonzalez for 11th all time on that list.

In the 34th minute, Kaveh Rad passed Blackwood and moved into 16th place for league minutes played for SKCII, he finished the game with 2,632 minutes played.

In the 31st minute, Rad passed Nansel Selbol and moved into 20th place for minutes played in all competitions for KC. In the 41st minute he passed Lebo Moloto and moved into 19th place on that list. Then in the 60th minute he passed Ualefi and moved into 18th place on that list, finishing the game with 2,632 minutes played.

Rad made his 31st league appearance for KC, tying him with Kevin Oliveira for 20th all time on that list.

Rad made his 29th league start for KC, tying him with Blackwood for 17th all time on that list.

Rad made his 29th start in all competitions, tying him with Moloto for 18th all time on that list.

Camden Riley made his 35th league appearance, breaking his tie with Ethan Vanacore-Decker for 15th all time on that list.
