The Comets lost twice in Florida but the defender did reach a milestone.

The Kansas City Comets had a rough weekend in Florida, dropping both games to the Florida Tropics on the trip, 8-7 in OT on Friday night and 7-4 on Sunday afternoon. Here are the stats and milestones from the game.

John Sosa’s first assist on 1/10 was his 150th in league play for the Comets, he’s the 2nd player to reach that mark for the club.

On 1/8, Adam James scored his 23rd goal in league play, breaking his tie with Guerrero Pino for 19th all time on that list.

It was James’ 23rd in all competitions as well, breaking his tie with Pino and Stefan Stokic for 19th all time on that list as well.

James goal gave him 39 goals/assists in league play, tying him with Andre Braithwaite for 18th all time on that list.

It was also James’ 39th goal/assist in all competitions, tying him with Braithwaite for 18th on that list as well.

James’ goal on 1/10 was his 24th in league play, tying him with Milan Ivanovic for 18th all time on that list.

His goal gave him 40 goals/assists in league play and in all competitions, breaking his tie with Braithwaite for 18th all time on both lists.

On 1/10, James made his 55th appearance in all competitions for the Comets, tying him with Ryan Junge for 17th all time on that list.

Kevin Ellis had two assists on 1/8, the first gave him 34 goals/assists for the Comets in league play, tying him with Pino for 20th all time on that list. The second saw him break that tie for 20th place.

Ellis’ first assist gave him 35 in all competitions, breaking his tie with Pino and Jamar Beasley for 20th all time on that list.

On 1/8 Mirko Sandivari made his 46th league appearance for KC, tying him with Braithwaite for 20th all time on that list.

On 1/10, Sandivari made his 47th league appearance, breaking his tie with Braithwaite for 20th all time on that list.
