The Thin Front Line - Shades of Blue

Recent departures have left the Sporting KC attacking core without much depth. Are reinforcements on the way?

San Jose Earthquakes v Sporting Kansas City

While Peter Vermes & Co. have brought in new players in the midfield and the defense, the departures of Felipe Gutierrez, Gerso Fernandes, & Erik Hurtado mean Sporting Kansas City has a lot of questions on the front line beyond the three starters.

Jimmy crosses over from No Other Pod to join Cody, Thad, & Robert for another Shade of Blue. They examine the depth on the squad and the potential for reinforcements before the season begins. At least one new player on the front line, feels like a must. The left wing seems to be particularly in need.

There will be absolutely no talk of free agent Dom Dwyer, however. Zero, I say. But does Kei Kamara have goals left in him? And a rumored incentive for MLS teams to sign players under the age of 23 may come in handy as well.
