The Kansas City Comets rode stellar defense in their 6-2 win on Sunday afternoon against the St. Louis Ambush to advance in the MASL playoffs. Here are the stats and milestones from the Comets game in St. Louis.

John Sosa made his 207th appearance in all competitions for the Comets, breaking his tie with Lucas Rodriguez for 2nd all time on that list.

Sosa made his 26th playoff appearance, moving him into a tie with Vahid Assadpour for 2nd all time on that list.

Leo Gibson made his 27th playoff appearance, breaking his tie with Assadpour for 1st all time on that list.

Gibson recorded his 10th playoff assist, tying him with Assadpour for 2nd all time on that list.

Ramone Palmer scored his 5th playoff goal for the Comets, tying him with John Sosa for 8th all time on that list.

Palmer’s goal was his 14th goal/assist for the Comets in the playoffs, tying him with Bryan Perez for 6th all time on that list.

Palmer made his 20th playoff appearance for the Comets, tying him with Stefan Stokic for 8th all time on that list.

Ray Lee scored his 22nd goal in all competitions, tying him with Stokic and Guerrero Pino for 20th all time on that list.

Kevin Ellis’ goal and assist gave him 42 goals/assists for the Comets in all competitions, moving him ahead of Anthony Grant and into 18th place all time on that list.
