Unofficial Preseason - Shades of Blue

The Sporting KC players are back together this week for unofficial preseason and we got to hear from them for the first time this year. Peter Vermes doesn’t sound overly optimistic that a we’ll see a new signing on the front line before the regular season begins, but he’s challenging the young players to show him what they’ve got. Gianluca Busio sounds ready to step up and THAT dude for SKC. He’s rocking the #10 this year and a lot of the team’s success is resting on his shoulders. Robert thinks another key to the season will have to be newcomer Remi Walter, but what about Nicolas Isimat-Mirin and the back line?

We also talk about all the new kits being released around Major League Soccer. Why are they all so plain? Is Sporting KC waiting to be the grand finale? It sounds like it will be released over the weekend, so we’ll have the club’s designer on the show next week to talk about his team’s newest creation.
