The Shades of Blue Season Preview series continues with Part 3 from the perspective of a current player. Check out Part 1 - Former Player Jimmy Nielsen and Part 2 - The Media.

Sporting KC defender Jaylin Lindsey joins us to give you an up close and personal view of the upcoming MLS season. He tells us what it’s like in a Peter Vermes classroom. Which of his teammates are good students? Who can’t pay attention? Spoiler alert... EVERYONE pays attention.

Fresh off his 21st birthday, Jaylin expects to see a lot more minutes this year and his goal is to become a regular starter. This team needs him to grab hold of that fullback job with both hands. We also talk about the number of homegrown players and all the youth set to make larger impact this season. Plus, he’s got some new teammates to get used to playing with.

Big thanks to Jaylin for coming on the show and we hope to have him several times this year!
