S4:E13 - Doug McLagan joins the show to talk about the new guys and Daniel Salloi actually scoring a goal.

MLS: Sporting Kansas City at New York Red Bulls Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City soccer staple Doug McLagan joins the show after Sporting KC’s 2-1 win over New York Red Bulls. Daniel Salloi got the sitter he needed to regain confidence and find himself again. Maybe the attacking core has more depth than everyone thought? We discuss key players that everyone had their eyes on. Gianluca Busio was playing a false nine role and did the job well enough. But what’s the best way to use him? In the midfield, Rémi made his MLS debut and proved to be an absolute workhorse. The other newcomer, Nicolas Isimat-Mirin, also made a good impression in matchday one.

Of course with McLagan on the pod, we reminisce about the Kansas City Comets and family dynasties.
