The game didn’t end the way fans would have wanted, but women’s professional soccer returned to Kansas City on Monday night as Kansas City NWSL hosted their home opener at Children’s Mercy Park against the Houston Dash, falling 3-1. Here are the stats and milestones from the game.

In the 40th minute, Desiree Scott moved ahead of Yael Averbuch and into 6th place for minutes played for KC NWSL teams in all competitions, she finished the game with 5,148 minutes played.

Scott made her 57th start in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Averbuch for 6th all time on that list.

In the 87th minute, Amy Rodriguez moved ahead of Merritt Mathias and into 12th place for minutes played for KC NWSL teams in all competitions, she finished the game with 3,417 minutes played.

Rodriguez made her 41st appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with Becca Moros for 13th all time on that list.

Rodriguez made her 40th start in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Moros for 11th all time on that list.

In the 20th minute, Lo’eau LaBonta moved ahead of Amy LePeilbet and into 15th place for minutes played for KC NWSL teams in all competitions, she finished the game with 2,582 minutes played.

LaBonta made her 34th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with LePeilbet for 17th all time on that list.

In the 42nd minute, Katie Bowen passed Nikki Phillips and moved into 18th place for minutes played for KC NWSL teams in all competitions, she finished the game with 2,199 minutes played.
