A Rough Translation - Shades of Blue

S4:E20 - Talking ALL the soccer this week from Gold Cup action & Gianluca Busio to Sporting KC’s return to action.

Soccer: CONCACAF Gold Cup Soccer-USA at Canada Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

In honor of the Gold Cup, we’re switching up the intro music to “Over There” by the Vandon Arms. Even though they weren’t actually, over there. Talking USMNT, Gianluca Busio’s performance and transfer saga, and SKC as they sit within striking distance of the top of the table.

The USMNT snuck out on top of the group with some nervy wins and will avoid an early meeting with Mexico. But how far can this roster actually go?

It wasn’t exactly his best performance, but Gianluca Busio has stolen the headlines from the group stage. We talk about his long running transfer saga and the rumor from Taylor Twellman it may finally come to an end this week.

Sporting KC has been on fire (6-1-1 since May). Without playing for a few weeks, KC is right there with Supporters’ Shield leaders. We give you a preview of Wednesday’s match with San Jose Earthquakes including an in-depth analysis of Head Coach Matías Almeyda’s translator on a red card suspension.

Will Peter Vermes be available? Who are the two unnamed players that are also unlikely to be available tomorrow? We have no idea, you guys. But listen anyway.
